if your only going one way book a day return its half price to a single
Used to be like that on North Sea ferries. You could book a return, which was cheaper by far than a one way. But they have Sussed it now and it's no longer possible. Similarly, forget buying a bottle of spirits or wine for consumption in your comfy cabin watching sky. You can only pick it up at point of disembarkation. Saudi firm running P&O these days!
Make the most of the loophole on the tunnel crossing!
I wouldn't be so sure about that! There is a clause in the T&Cs that if you do NOT come back they can instead charge you for the cost of a standard single instead ...
if you fail to return they just take the extra from your credit card, simple.
it is true they will charge the full single journey and it maybe a hell of a lot more than if u book a single yourself this has been the practice for years go to the calais wine store send a certain amount and they will pay for either a ferry or a tunnel crossing
Has the op actually done it?
