CaxtonFX does not work on tolls.

It's good enough to keep using it but I have to resort to a good old £ CC now and then.

We just got a Halifax Clarity credit card that makes no charge for using abroad. We used it on our recent trip to France and Belgium and we averaged an exchange rate of 1.19 which is better than using cash. We have it set up so that the full balance is automatically taken each month so never any charge for using it. :thumb:

Caxton pre pay for cash and Nationwide select CC for fuel, tolls etc. No charge on the Nationwide CC as long as full amount is paid at month end. Nationwide CC is excepted at all automatic pumps and tolls throughout Europe.
