Here is an opportunity for you to own a top-of-the-range liner-class motorhome from a prestigious German manufacturer. Superb furniture with real wood veneers and ‘bomb-proof’ construction. This vehicle is likely to run and run but I am obliged to downsize to 3.5tonne after 6 years of faultless ownership, so it must move on.

It has the benefit of being built on a reliable Mercedes chassis (rear wheel drive and good turning circle) and is also Right Hand Drive (cheaper insurance and better suited for UK) with automatic transmission.

Enjoying both gas and microwave ovens, even hydraulic levelling jacks, this vehicle lacks very little. It has been used as a luxurious two-berth although it will comfortably sleep four (two singles and one very large double). No pets, no children, no smokers and garaged for most of its life.

    Equipment includes:

Upgraded Heavy Duty suspension (unaffected by passing trucks)

    Factory-fitted Towbar

    Hydraulic Levelling System

Alde (gas & electric) space & water heating

    Webasto auxiliary diesel space heating

    SOG toilet vented to roof

    Shower room

    Dometic Air Conditioning/Heater

    Cab aircon

    1.8kW Inverter for off-grid mains

    160Ah Gel habitation battery

    NASA Battery Monitor

    120W Solar Panel

Auto-seeking Oyster 85cm Satellite Dish + Receiver + Avtex TV

Status terrestrial TV aerial & Amplifier

    DVD player

    VHS player

    Cobra Alarm (Thatcham 1)

250litre fresh and waste Water Tanks

    Drinking Water Filter

    Extractor Fan

Carpets, upgraded upholstery and ‘Cosy World’ extras

    Electric Steps

    Front Insulated electric Roller Blind

Media Centre with Autochange CD drive and Ipod connection

Good luck with your sale it looks a lot of van for the money.

Only one point though; I dont think the insurance companies charge more for LHD. I'm only paying £200 for full european on a £70k LHD Niesmann.

Blimey where did you get that insurance from. It's half mine on a cheaper Burstner!

I'm sure I've always been asked LHD/RHD, so assume it's relevant.
Insurance aside, I've always had RHD for UK and find it no inconvenience in Europe, whereas I don't think LHD would be as easy over here (where we spend most of our time travelling).

Good luck for the sale. If it had been about last autumn I might have been interested instead of getting a new Hymer!
