    You may drop lucky like me 2 yrs ago when they gave me a box about as big as a shoe box :Eeek: I was cursing all the way to the car saying that it was stupid size box for such a little thing :Angry: When I opened it up at home it contained 3 :thumb:RESULT - of course I took them back :Rofl1::Rofl1: not :thumb::BigGrin: I now have 1 min the van and 2 in the house :thumb:

    got mine from B+Q a while ago for a domestic legality situation.

    combined smoke and CO detector that shouts.

    CO shout = WARNING..CARBON MONOXIDE repeatedly

    SMOKE shout = FIRE, FIRE, FIRE repeatedly

    and between the repeated shout is a piercing siren.

    £30 well spent and its a Kidde :thumb:

    about to be fitted in Rex the RV (shirls christening, not mine :Doh:)

    That Aldi link also shows a fire blanket @ £6.99, another must have.

    Agreed. Bought one a few years ago.

    But - like any firefighting equipment, only use it if you are not putting yourself in danger and make sure you are between the fire and a safe exit.

    We have jsut been talking about these when in B&Q Des said Graham mentioned something so have waited till got home I now see thay are cheaper in lloyds chemist around the corner from me, Im going to pop around and see how many they have, if any one interested i will get you one...
