HI. Looking for a few camp sites on South East Coast of spain. Leaving Calais on 25th March and going direct to Spain. Do not want to go further than Barcelona. This is a trial before we leave for 2 years. Hope to stay at overnights but also want to spend a few days hear and there at VERY QUIET camp sites. Please ....all replies welcome. This is our first time and not even sure of route. AGAIN all replies welcome. Would like to stop at interesting sites along the way. This is just a trial of what hopes to be a long, long road trip. Please, please to anyone who has been in our situation, give all your advise.

ACSI Book

purchase a ACSI book as they will list loads off sites but the winter deals will have lapsed.

Also look at AIRES in France too.
AIRES are overnight stopovers in France but some may charge a small fee for electric and water

Sites we have used a few times are Les Medes at L'Estartit and Camping Bon Repose (right on the beach) at Santa Suzanna, from here it's a cheap ride by train to Barcelona.

P S Don't try to go to Barcelona in your van the natives are known not to be friendly.

If you are heading south on the A20 autoroute then you can stopover at Parc Verger near Limoges. Quiet site, cheaper than ACSI for Funsters with their discount, and easy routes to Spain which you can easily reach in a day.

TKS To all who gave us replies.

STILL LOOKING FOR ANY ADVISE ON OVER NIGHT STAYS OR REASONABLE CAMP SITES ON SOUTH EAST COAST OF Spain. Going for 3 weeks before leaving for few years. Hoping to get a good feel for prices etc. Hope to see how far our budget goes. From Calais to Spain coast stopping at aires then hope to find cheap places to stay for a week or two. Hope to get any advise or tips from anyone out there regarding fuel prices, stopovers. Hope to go through France as far as possible then over to Spains south east coast but no further than Barcelona on this trip. Any advice on roads to use and not to use. Do not want to go through Paris central. What to do and what Not to do, anything welcome. We will be travelling in our 23ft motor home so also any advice on distance between fueling.
