,hi there ,we leave here 14th may for a 6 month tour in our Fiat Ducato camper van of Europe

should be great fun and hopefully no problems

rough plan is France ,northern Italy,Croatia,Slovenia,Austria,Czech rep,Switzerland then a month in France and a month in Spain ,go to Morocco then through Portugal and back to UK (have already done southern Italy)

we are hoping to go to Morocco about the 1st oct ,would like to meet up with anyone else who might be there about the same time.

We want to go to Paris on our way to Italy ,we know of the camping in the Bois de Boulogne ,is there any where else that is a good place to stop for a few nights ,also need to find parking in Paris on a sunday afternoon near the Eiffel tower ,while we do cycle tour ,is parking free on sundays? planing on driving round Paris in the middle of night ,before we leave .

Hi your trip sounds great, a couple of years back we went to Paris with the MH on a Sunday and managed to park up very close to the Eiffel Tower for free. We parked on a residential street and when we went to pay at the meter it wouldn't work and a kind French man informed us it was free on a Sunday, you will see some streets with no MH parking but loads are ok we must have parked less that 1/2m from the tower.

October might be a bit early for Funsters going to Morocco. It's still warm enough then in France, Spain, Portugal etc. December, January is the time for the Funster Lemmings to cross into Morocco.
On the other hand it should be pretty quiet as I believe the French don't start arriving in their hordes until November after which it is pretty packed.
