Calais Closing (1 Viewer)

Just incase anyone is booked to travel this Sunday be aware that Calais port is to be closed from 0700 till 1400hrs to allow two bombs to be defused.
There is a fear that operation stack may have to be implemented according to the local paper.

Reading the report I think its just Calais to Dover that's closed. It says:-

"Dover to Calais traffic can still travel – discharge will be diverted via the town (Tourist & Freight)."

Hope so anyway I we are booked on the 07:30 crossing Dover to Calais

Just had a call from Caravan club whom we booked the Ferry with. It seems there is a problem crossing Sunday morning after all. They have managed to re-book us on the Saturday evening instead.
