Takes a little while to warm up but then it really gets going. Easy to get too hot, so as soon as the food starts to sizzle, turn it right down, which is a bit tricky if there is any breeze about and you aren't near a windbreak. Happy cooking!
I use the griddle rather than the bbq grill and line the fat catcher tray with foil to ease cleaning.
Keep the lid on to halve cooking time and add flavour.
they used to say "charcoal is good for you" recently there's been a study that found burnt food contains carcinogens. so dont burn the food, which is easy to do on a cadac as it gets very hot. turn frequently to cook evenly. it takes a little while to perfect the technique
most important though is to remember a glass of your favourite tipple to drink as you cook
Get a silicon oven sheet to cover the hot plate , keeps it clean just wash the sheet ,
personally , i just sold mine had it 3 years not used it in last 2 years ,( i bought a morocan burner that screws direct onto the 907 ), found it too slow even though i made a wind deflector to go round the burner , and takes up a lot of space ,
as they say ya pays ya money ya makes ya choice ,
