I was thinking of the melodious horn trumpet - but I grant that exploding your exhaust box could be distracting for a horse
Yes, difficult to be a skid demon with caterpillar tracks

I have a Suzuki Cobra Service Manual that explains the operation of the voltage regulator. It was written by the same person.:D

You should have read the operating manuals for some of the Japanese built ships I sailed on in the early 70's...... they were an improvement but technical engrish was not a strong point

....look I know you are a landlubbing tankie but I must explain. I'll try and make it simple and in short words so that you will understand...........

The Americans were the guys mostly floating, or not and the Japanese were the people sneakily dropping bombs on them. Now I know why they call the navy the "Senior Service" kapish?? :p;)

How about this one from an American Triumph Trophy manual

Take care the rear shocker spring helper keeper inners are fit properly

I knew what it meant but asked a yank biker if he knew..
He looked at me as if I was an idiot and told me 'of course I do'
