Seen today on a tree. The leaves look like Rhododendron but they don't have black berries, or do they???

There was, eating the berries.Definitely Laurel, there must be a male somewhere in the vicinity.

It's a very Hardy plant so they called it a Laurel. I'm happy 'cos I just watched Manchester United beat Southampton and Pogba was superb.

It used to be called a Rabbit Dropping tree. In the olden days people used to think that rabbits lived in the trees and did their business in the branches. Then someone found out that rabbits actually live underground so they changed the name. It's a very Hardy plant so they called it a Laurel.
