Been considering a diesel heater, but there seems to loads for sale. How do you choose? We have well insulated mh and is 7 meters length. Look forward to your suggestions. TIA

Broken most bits now
The £60 Chinese heaters are fine but like any diesel heater except the very expensive Truma type they should only use the factory outlet so will only be very directional with their heating. That said people have attached them to the factory blown air ducting and heated the whole van with no problems.

We have a chinese deisel heater and it's great. Added an extra outlet and also connected to our existing ducting using T joints off e bay. Works a treat.
Really heats the van up quickly far better than the gas or electric. But now we have the 3 fuel choices. (y)

I got really excited thinking “splicing into the ducting” was genius, I then preceded to look at them and was about to order one, then………??????????

If you already have a gas Truma Combi the Truma Diesel Combi will slot in easily. Just needs the diesel supply instead of the gas one. More expensive than the alternatives but if you want the “Best” then this may be it.
