Got my Dethleffs Advantage up from 3.5 to 3850, did the work myself got through the DVLA mine field , new V5 issued and then this year came my Medical for C1 went through the procedures (one month) sent it all to the DVLA.
Today letter arrived informing me people with Defibrillators fitted even though (thank God) its never activated are no longer be allocated with a C1 Licence...but with a MH of 3.5, you can tow a trailer, buy a fifth wheel pickup unit ....pardon.....

My younger brother was a hgv class 1 driver and had a TIA minor stroke so his employer took him off the artics and put him on 7.5 tonners whats the thinking behind that one as he had to work longer hours to earn the same pay.
