B4396 and B4391 Snowdonia (1 Viewer)

we are travelling to Harlech and can anybody advise if the above roads from the A5 at Shrewsbury is suitable for an 8.0m motorhome?

Not familiar with those roads but best route is Shrewsbury / Dolgellu then A496 to Harlech. The B roads will be ok I'm sure but expect hills and blind corners !

We have recently done this journey, went via A5 to A494 for Bala right at Bala A4212 to Trawsfynydd
right onto A470 and finally A496 Maentwrog. lovely road from Bala to Trawsfynydd.

It easily doable its 2 lane all the way and the section from penybontfawr to bala is quite scenic but it will be slower.

I wouldnt try and go down the southern side of Bala lake though as it will be a pain, go into bala and then either turn left for Dolgellau or go straight over for Maentwrog,( Dolgellau is faster)
