Auto trail/Ducati handbrake problem (1 Viewer)

Hi, I have an auto trail Dakota, on a fiat ducato chassis. It has an alko rear axle, rear discs, With internal hand brake shoes. I am having problems obtaining a handbrake cable. The garage I took it to have tried several different cables. The only thing I can think of, is that the handbrake is located on the right of the driver's seat rather than in the centre of the front seats. It's a 2006 plate.
Has anyone else had this problem,or point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

Hand brake cable Help

Please need your help again, Need a handbrake cable for Renault master Alko chassis. Not willing to pay the price for one eye watering amount. Just wondering has anyone modified an ordinary handbrake cable to fit. Thanks
