FINALY !!!!! Got through online to NS and I and got a pensioner bond....
Only took 3 days... Bl***y marvellous !! What a debacle their site was. Fubar is and understatement. Still,, got there in the end..

What is a pensioner bond?

Is that like a bail bond for when you get arrested in america.

Well of course - though this had never occurred to me before - if you invest money with 'the Government' then it might be reasonable to assume that in that case, when you do have to go into care - they already know how much dosh you have and so you can't hide it.

However since none of their departments seem to 'speak' to any other Government Department, so far - you're probably safe !!

I just thought to myself "where can I make nearly a grand in three years without working or selling my body" (( and at 20p a go thats a lot of selling !! )) AND, its no risk and its fixed..
No brainer really ( like me, before you say it )
