Kindle undoubtedly the market leader backed by all the resources of mighty Amazon. Can this newcomer really make a dent....... guess time will tell.

I've been doing reasonably well selling books for the Nook in the US, not as good as Amazon but too big to be ignored.

Yes that seems like a good idea, even using the light they claim you can go a month between charges. My Kindle seems to always be on charge, (lasts a couple of weeks max) but I do use a light a lot which uses the Kindle battery, and I'm always forgetting to turn the wifi offoh:
