Bless him.

Just looking at our 17 year old kitten laying in front of the log burner and thinking how much we will miss her:cry:

We who love dogs, really love our dogs, and the pain of their passing, is truly wretched.

We feel for ya Borr.

Really sorry to hear that you have lost such a devoted friend.

The loss of a beloved pet is one of the hardest blows anyone can deal with, my heartfelt sympathies

So sorry about you loosing such a beautiful faithful dog, I know how you are feeling, we lost our little 15 year old Jack Russell called Scrumpy last August.

We said we wouldn't have another but now we have a lovely, lively 5-1/2 month old Cockapoo called Roxy.

So sorry - been there too many times. Honour his memory by taking on another looking for a home - there are always too many waiting for the sort of home you can provide.

I love dogs. I have had them since I can remember, first my parents and then me.

The only downside is when we lose them. It never gets any easier.

Each time I have sworn not to put myself through it again but the longest I have lasted, dogless, is 18 months.

So much unconditional affection is very rarely found elsewhere.

My sympathies to you.

I'm blown away by such kind words from everyone, thank you, it's lovely knowing there are such big dog/animal lovers out there.

I'm lucky to still have my other pooch Diezel a 13 1/2 years old siberian husky who is doing well, missing his best pal but he is doing well. He is getting his first passport this month so many more adventures and memories with him to come, and my Zeusy boy with us in spirit :)
