Well I thought I had found the ultimate a good POI creator editor for my TOMTOM. It seems now the API in POIedit has been disabled so the search functions using maps are now defunct. Bit of a shame as I found it very useful

I suppose there are a couple of questions really

    1) Poiedit has anyone successfully over come the problem of google maps working with it

    2) Ive downloaded all sorts of programmes but they are clunky to say the least, has any one come across a good writer search type programme either free or able to buy.

    3) What do people use for writing poi files and keeping track

I am sorry I can't be of any help...

I used to be HUGE fan of Tom Tom but since they fell out with Google it seems to me that they have gone to being just another sat nav...
