And Dave Dee of Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Titch was a young constable who attended the accident.

I think it was the car crash that killed Eddie Cochran and injured Gene Vincent that Dave Dee attended as was a police officer in Wiltshire, pretty sure Bolan was killed in Barnes, South London
