Likes,
Merc engine and auto box
Massive garage
Spacious lounge
Full cooker
Excellent bathroom and shower area

Dislikes
Deep dash
Can't really complain about the transverse rear bed as I bought second hand,if the beds were longitudinal we would have lost room in the lounge.

Was a newbie, now a Middie.
I was asked when fueling up the RV, how many horses we had on board?
None says I, that why we carry a motorbike:xdoh::xrofl:
I'm not knocking BTs truck, just the design. I know it's a personal thing, but I want windows, and natural light, and something that makes the thing give a certain pleasure to the eye. I like some of the larger Pilote for instance, they tick all the boxes, without looking like a prison van on the way to court.

Well, all modern motorhomes of a certain ilk look like horse boxes. Very small and few windows, and a lack of bodywork distinction. Dont you agree?
Check this out to see what I mean.

Ok got it,the thing with our van was that the previous owner removed a lot of the decals, don't ask me why.I had to take the van back to Frankia for warranty work and they replaced all of the missing ones.Although they missed the Frankia one above the windscreen.xroll:

There you go! Suddenly, your van has distinction, and becomes something really eye catching! Just a few decals make all the difference. I'm still not happy with this very small smoked glass window thing though. Large roof lights never compensate for clear windows, but thats just me.

Love the way the KTM's handle and the way they deliver power.. What I do not like is having to work on them !! And that seems to come around quite a lot.. Mind you, I have only had the 'pleasure' of working on competition bikes..

Never owned one myself but had to spanner several over the years..
I am sure they are a really good bike nowadays, but the earlier ones... Oh my !!
I still wonder if the bloke from KTM who advised Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman that a KTM would not make the trip was speaking the truth.
I do know that he soon after became 'persona non grata' not only within KTM but in the upper echelons of a good many bike firms !

Move to 41 minutes in the video

Since 1964 Gosh that makes me feel old.
That's really nice. And I bet the horses love it!! :xThumb:

Brill, but if Hazel had her way, we'd have a motorhome that has space for her horses & a trailer for her carriage, or should that read a horse lorry that's also a camper? :xgrin:
