Around 18ft long with a 27hp petrol engine......thal would be interesting driving over the alps.

The price of a complete coach, including finishing in a two-colour livery, was £1,314.10s for a 27-seater, and £1,325.10s for a twenty nine seater.

Geared to reach speeds of at least 40 miles per hour (64 km/h), which was fast for its day, the OB is remembered by many for its characteristic gearbox whine.

It has an Iveco 3ltr diesel engine, and is apparently capable of 90mph if it were permitted.
I think that only the outer bodywork is original, the rest has been updated!

We went to Wembly Speedway final around 1961-2 from Norwich, web were in an OB coach from a small local company, it was great for annoying fellow supporters walking along Wembly Way as it had wind down windows, we could hang out and exchange good natured abuse.
We also had an OB SWB breakdown truck at the Vauxhall main dealer I worked at, drove it many times with it's crash gearbox. That truck helped me pass the RCT military driving test because I was used to crash gearboxes.
