Decided to go to St Denis du maine aire , got there but grass looked looked a bit soggy, so went on to Villiers Charlemange aire closed due to fishing comp/fete, moved on to chateau gontier no problem riverside with 40 others met a funster from Yorkshire named sue , said that was her user name,sunday now moved on ,went to St Mars la jail Le aire ,nope another festival going on,moved on to not sur end re but that was full, so now holed up for the night at our on aire very nice no facilities here but they are at the campsite 1km away. Weather picked up today the odd shower but quite warm, yesterday mostly showery.

It's overcast with sunny spells on IOW and very humid, wouldn't be surprised if we don't get some thunder. Forecast for much the same until weekend when we should get a bit of sunshine. Hope weather improves for you and you're enjoying your holiday

Doing our best to enjoy, but asbo looks bedraggled ,wet and bit muddy,vendrennes aire tonight,not brill very wet under foot,but when needs must.how our weather improves,but doesn't look hopefull

You'll just have to cheer yourselves up by taking advantage of all that lovely French food and drink, we're still having withdrawal symptoms! Tried getting baguettes and strawberry tarts here but they're just not the same! Bon appetite and may the sun shine for you soon

Doesn't look as if weather is going to improve in this area til Friday - am at Camping Bois Dinot, Marsans on N137. If you are passing through this way maybe say hello? Don't know if you are travelling N or S from Vendrennes. There are campervans parked by river La Sevre Niortoisse, first turning on right diagonally opposite campsite entrance, down by side of Le Marais Fleuri - which also has bar restaurant jsu before SuperU. Also seen campervans parked at Marans Port. There is also aire at back of SuperU. Lovely area for walking and cycling but not in this weather!!!!
