Whilst trundling along after a superb 4 weeks in France I had only just thought how few speed cameras I had seen.
Then one of them winked ! at me.
I did find the constant changes of 90, 70, 50 even 30 quite a challenge but my maximum speed in a little short of 2000 miles was 63 MPH according to my sat nav. I was winked by a little forward facing box on my side in a 70 km section.
I was doing 77/76 when I glanced at sat nav. This was one of those wide open roads with no obvious reason for 70 km except approaching a roundabout although I was still some way from it.
I'm not looking for excuses and I accept I was driving so will accept the consequences whatever they may be.
So what are they ?? Anyone had first hand experience which they are prepared to admit please?
