Why pay for an RCD when plugging it in to an RCBO protected socket. Where do you get your 12 metres from  that's nonsense
Not my nonsense!

Table 15.4 on page 98 of the 4th edition of the IET Code of Practice for in service inspection and testing of electrical equipment quotes max lengths for extension leads.

In any non-domestic context, the issue is that users without your technical knowledge could use the lead without the required additional protection, putting themselves and others at risk under fault conditions.

Why do you need such a long one Andy?
To reach the car with the vac.
Actually I don't need it all but better looking at it than for it. Not a good idea to stretch it

The 25metre was over £10 more for 5 metres less.

Are you gonna have to unroll it all to use it (ie is the vac over 5 amps)? ... if so you might regret having such a long one! :D

5 amp is fully wound. If I could use it fully wound I wouldn't need it at all

Tried one of these kits years back, didnt work.

If the system has had lost all its gas the receiver dryer may need replacing thesystem will also need the air sucking out by vacuum before refilling.

If you still have some gas pressure in it may work for a short time but once again yoiu should have the old gas removed and the system vacuumed.

I had a good guy who did my van, he found the small valve under the high pressure cap had been leaking slightly and i was down to 150gr of the 550 that should have been there. Cost me £60 all in.

I didn't say fully wound  I said unwind all of it, ie not sure how 'safe' it is to use part-wound on anything over 5 amp ... so would you need to unwind it all to use it, hence the question is your vac over 5amp? :)

Part wound will of course be proportional and between 5 and 13 and it does have a thermal cut out

Fancied a camera to take out every now and again when I go open water swimming. Didn’t want an expensive one and the Crosstour Action Camera got great reviews from other swimmers and it was less than £40 on Amazon.

Amazingly came with a gazillion different attachments to attach it to handle bars, tripods, helmets etc, plus a remote control and a waterproof case (no SD card). If I sent a review in I also would receive another couple of attachments.

Took it out for a swim with me last night, really easy to use and get the photos/videos off it without any help from mrjenben :) who is normally tech support.

I am impressed to be honest and the waterproof case worked !

You know what is sad ?
I have the posh one.. loads of bits and bobs ( In fact the case I carry it all in is huge ! )... then I realised I do not do anything that anyone else would be vaguely interested in, or that I do not do anything exciting enough to video !

I’ll PM my address if anyone can spare a couple of dog biscuits, apparently they can make your coat shiny

Replacement fridge mains element
New gas filter
Replacement Fiamma side-mounted awning clips - only needed one but had to buy the full kit!
New MoT's for both cars; hers sailed through, mine needed a bit of work.

Not looking forward to next month credit card bill - but at least it'll give me some Tesco points to use on our next trip on Eurotunnel.

Well you live and learn. Been looking for some of the clips that hold the internal surround of the main rooflight, small metal gripper things. Finally found some on Amazon of all places, and they're called
