If you are looking to get away from it all to a pleasant, clean and friendly site then we can highly recommend Gwel an Nans camp site at Cardinham near Bodmin in Cornwall. It is sited about 3 miles from the A30 and the approach roads are narrow but negotiable by all but the biggest RVs.
There are 10 hook ups, 5 or 6 fresh water taps grey water disposal and a toilet disposal point. There is a toilet and shower block suitable for the disabled, washing machine, tumble drier and a fridge freezer.
This site is out in the country and ideal if you like to walk but bring your own booze as the nearst pub is 3 or 4 miles away. Gerald and Sheila are great hosts and nothing seems too much trouble. There are two donkeys on the farm Harry and Dino. Dino pulls a little cart and Gerald gives rides around the site at least one evening a week especially for the children (at no extra cost.) Talking of cost this is a non bank breaking stay as for 10 months of the year it is £10 per pitch including electricity, July and August £12.
We stayed here for 4 nights in early August 2010 and loved it although we only live 30miles away. We will certainly return.

If you like good Indian food then do try the Golden Temple in the main street in Bodmin. Not to be missed.
