Daughter and son in law .have a MOTERHOME.
SHE ASKED ME TO SHOW HER HOW TO DRIVE IT.
SHE AS BEEN DRIVING .FOR 34 YEARS .

i look at this differently, asking for advice and tips on driving a bigger vehicle when the largest you have driven in 34 years is a car, is very sensible

My wife is in the same position, been driving for over over 40 years when we bought the PVC 2 years ago she is still not confident but I paid for a driving lesson by an HGV instructor in our van and she is much better now.

Didn't like it when I tried to tutor her.......can't think why:)

Sensible woman your son has there.

I try to help my wife when she is driving our motorhome by making useful comments on her driving. Strangely, my efforts to help are not appreciated.

A extremely sensible lady, I would suggest to her that she would be far better, for the sake of family harmony and sanity that she takes a couple of lessons from an experienced HGV instructor

First time I had to drive the motorhome was about 2 months after my OH died. I'd been driving 30 years but biggest thing I'd driven was a transit van across Germany several years earlier and I'd had another person with me then.
Husband of someone I vaguely knew came over and gave me great advice and took me out in the Moho. I felt confident enough to do a few local drives before driving from Toulouse to the UK with the animals.
