That's just outside Winchcombe.
You could visit the Castle whilst you're there, the approach road is narrow but drivable.

My favourite pub, which I have to admit is also probably the most expensive pub around these parts is the Gardeners Arms in the village of Alderton, the closest place to the site. It’s walkable but perhaps not quite as close as the Camping and Caravanning Club would have you believe! Excellent food with a good gluten free menu, lots of gins to choose from and friendly staff. Oh, and sometimes my mate Barry and I provide the musical entertainment...........

He’s a good chef Mike but I think he employs a good chef nowadays so him and Wendy can get out a bit more! It’s hard work running a country pub I guess.
