I have put this in UK Touring as there isn't a section for Republic of Ireland - and you can get there by road from Nothern Ireland.

Having driven about a third of it from Cork, I have a few comments:-

The Atlantic is not very wild in November - any, in any case, you can't see it from most of the road.

Many Irish counties have privatised rubbish collection and as a result, trying to find bins is impossible - but, perhaps surprisingly, the place is remarkably very litter free. Our garage is full of bin bags.

Pub food is very good and the overnight stops are almost all very quiet.

The sun is now trying to shine :giggle:

What ferry did you use?
Stenna Line - Holyhead to Dublin.

From Merseyside, you drive half way to Ireland (A55) - and then get the ferry for the rest.

In detail -we got their newest ferry

We’ve just completed a two month tour of Ireland. Regarding rubbish we found that by compressing our rubbish into bags the size of nappy sacks there were no shortage of litter bins where we disposed of it.
We very rarely out of sight of the sea. Some of the roads to ensure this was the case were challenging but fun.
It wasn’t wild on our journey but was absolutely stunning.
The people were some of the friendliest we have ever met.
I’ll add a few pictures of our trip.

Must depend whereabouts in Ireland you are. We found plenty around Dublin

But round the Ring of Kerry, we have seen none (of any size)

But the place does look spotlessly clean.

Our view at breakfast time this morning was fairly spectacular (from the quay on the other side of the inlet)
