Well it’s goodbye from us……

Could you put it into store in the meantime? We made a massive mistake selling our Hymer to facilitate a house move....... wish we had known more back then.
That’s what I was wondering too Helen. He must have spent an absolute fortune at Offgrid and won’t get back a fraction of that on a 9 year old van, or certainly not on Autotrader I wouldn’t have thought.

Wow Adi, glad I was sitting down when reading this.

On a lovely big pitch by the Loire in glorious sunshine. Cause that’s what it’s all about. Going to cycle into Blois along the river on the cycle paths for lunch.

Am I convincing you to keep the van get 🙏🙏🙏

We’ve all made poor decisions along the path of life. But for you the van seems to be your soul. It took you a long time to get what you know is the perfect van for you and your type of motorhoming.

I’m sure you’ve had many discussions with the boss over this but it won’t hurt to go over things again.

I think we all hope you’ll be back in a van soon and continuing to annoy, I mean visit, the Germans again.

Good luck to you both 🙏🙏

Good luck with the sale and house move, hopefully once settled you’ll think about another van or even self built as you’ve talked about.

We moved into a new build November last year. Van was a brilliant asset for the move and now in local storage, that’s a 1/3 of the price I was paying in Kent.

Sorry to hear that WESTY66 was lovely meeting you at Chester, you were so enthusiastic about your van and motorhoming.
whatever is causing you to need to sell the van for the house move, do hope you are back on the road again soon.
good luck with the sales

Shame you need to do this.

But I agree with others. If you think you are going to return to motorhomes then I’d suggest you try to keep what you’ve got (a gear van 👌🏻👌🏻). Possibly by arranging storage. But you must do what is best for you 👍🏻👍🏻

If he’s selling and buying a house it’s a very stressful experience so if you get a good price for the van then maybe a good idea, Ade has talked about downsizing his van last year if I remember rightly, I think he was planning a self build pvc

Yep have spent parts of many holidays around here over the years.

2003 that was the heatwave year. Many sites pools had restrictions on them as water was rationed. Was on a ZX9 in France that year. With a tent.

We were camping in the Dordogne, the pool went green overnight . Our one and only experience of canoeing, the river was so low we ended up carrying them half the way (or it seemed like it) . Nick and I just couldn’t get the hang of it. The older two were fine but had to be split up to help us and the little one otherwise we never would have made the bus back. If the children want to give us nightmares they mention that or me on a horse in Costa Rica!
