Weber Q

just wondering if anyone tours with the Weber Q ? I have a Weber Q 2000 at home and wondering the mini version works on a Motorhome ,

Can’t help with the Q. But I can recommend the Weber Jumbo Joe if you want a really versatile BBQ ideal for Motorhomers. I’ve added a temperature gauge and rotisserie to mine giving you scope to cook pretty much anything on it. It’s probably one of the best BBQ’s Weber have ever made. The only problem is the Jumbo Joe is very hard to find now,

I have the Weber Baby Q 1200 .

simply the best BBQ I have ever used.. can't rate it highly enough.. I've also bought the griddle for it

but if you have the Q2000 you know how god they are..

Recently installed a Bullfinch BBQ point for it.

Agree with Jim. We to have a Q1200 we tour with. Use it for lots more than just BBQ. Roasts, frozen chips, pizzas, breakfast with griddle etc.

Agree with Jim and Peter, we have the Baby Q 1200 and love it. We managed to get it in a sale so saved about £80 before this trip and we have used it so many times. Beats any other gas powered grill/ bbq hands down.

We also use the Weber Q1200. We've splashed out for the rotisserie as well. We've used it a couple of times to cook a whole chicken - and both times it's been really succulent - in fact better than one cooked in the oven at home! Wouldn't tour without it - it's stored in the van as we've a couple of others we use at home depending on how many we're cooking for.

Agree with all those other posts.. Cracking bit of kit...

We have it on the fold up (or down..) trolley stand and have an external gas point on the van. Have also used it with the separate gas bottle and also the canisters. All good.

We have had ours for 3 years. At home we have the larger Q2000 at home and it is bomb proof.
