Looking for small Vacuum cleaner preferably battery operated. There seem to be so many from £30 to £150 with hugely varying reviews. Easy storage a major factor.

Do you have other battery items that include in their range a small hand held vacuum cleaner,[ Bosch, Dewault etc]? If yes that's quite a good way to proceed. Also see if they do a tyre inflater.

We've been using a Hoover H-FREE 100 cordless vacuum in the van for 2 years now.
Happy with it so bought one for home as well.

Very good but what a price!
We gave up with our Dyson rechargeable at home it kept cutting out all the time. They do come at a price but for a home cleaner I don't think you can beat a Henry for reliability. I know that doesn't help a lot with your question! How about a cheaper rechargeable from Aldi or Lidl when on special

We use a GTech hand held 20 odd V. Bloody fantastic hoover prfect for van (apart from need for invertor) and to us the price was right (hand me down) then a free new battery from GTech recall. About time i had good luck. Dont know the normal price but the stand up Gtech is pants had to replace gearbox twice then give up , repairing it. GTech score +1-2+1=0 .

Funny enough I have always been a Henry Fan, our newest 2006 models motor burnt out last week, after so much heavy duty work. I had to decide whether to buy a new replacement at circa £136.00 or buy a genuine replacement 1200 watt motor from E-Spares for £50 inc next day delivery.
I bought the replacement motor, fitted it in 30minutes, all is well.(y)
We also have a dyson mains upright which is great on flat carpets for dust collection, but I still use the Henry for round the edges and up high as using the Dyson wand has a very short stiff hose and such a faff to get off the machine and use.
The Dyson cannot pick a peanut off the floor, or a paperclip that you dont notice, theyy just get chucked out the side by the rollers.
Battery hand held's may be great for the car or van, but knowing my luck, it would be flat needing charged as we don't use it that often, so prefer 12v plug in to fag socket type with charge option for battery.

Just taken our old Dyson out of the van, too big and too noisy, did a fantastic job though so it's gone in my workshop to be used as a handheld vac.

In the van since yesterday i have a Karcher CVH2. Tiny little thing that charges using a standard cable and actually works really well. Being small it gets into places the other device couldn't and it's super quiet. Nothing like the power of the dyson but i don't think i need it as all floors are hard.

It was about £35

We use a Shark anti hair wrap - refurbished on eBay shop and came with 3 batteries - folds in half for storage.

We had a handheld vacuum that came free with our iRobot
It’s bloody brilliant and will suck start a leaf blower.
Dyson back in the house and iRobot now in the van.

Many aren't but I am a huge Temu fan.

I bought a small, hand held, USB rechargeable vacuum cleaner at a very low price.

It works in the van really well.

There are many to choose from.

I've just bought this from Lidl. 40W, reachargable and comes with a three year warranty. Works a treat and at £19.99, a lot cheaper than a Dyson! IMG_2045.jpeg

Getting a bit fussy in your old age JJ . I remember when the best thing to clean your van floor with would be a shovel.

Cheeky bugger... ( )

I wouldn't actually use the word "clean" to describe how I keep this van (which was nearly three times more expensive than any of my other vans)... after all one person's "clean" could be another's "germ infested pig sty" but I have actually washed it's floor four or five times and I have only had it two and a bit years.
