I know they are the work of the devil but I don’t have a spare tyre and my Fix n Go that came with the van is not fit for purpose as it blew the fuse! So does anyone have any experience or suggestions on what to keep in the van? Ta!

There will be a reason it blew the fuse.

Was the correct size fuse installed by the original motorhome builder.?

Was it the orginal pump as supplied with the van when new.?

What does the the manufacture's plate on the pump say about voltage and current?

Inflator draws 15A, fuse is 15A! Supplied new with van.

I carry a 'Stop and Go' tyre plugging kit - mushroom shaped plugs and applicator. Have repaired several motorbike and car punctures with it over the years

A stand alone battery inflater might be the way to go, especially if you have other battery operated items on board, such as a drill, vacuum, torch.
