small roof vent BRUTSAERT KBA 19303 winder handle

I have 2 of these vents in my van and one has the winder missing. Does this winder just push on and pull off?
I tried to remove the one that is working to test it in the other broken one but I didn't want to break it. They cost £10 but I want to make sure it works before buying one
It looks like this Thule one, part number 11.

Sorted it out. It has a long square piece on the plastic end. It has an O ring on it that holds it in place.

Pleased you got it sorted. I had what I thought were sheared gears on one of the Remis roof light winders; turned out to be the cable had popped out of its clips where it pushes the lever. 5 minute fix for what was going to be a real problem
