since 2006 ( I think ! )
A couple of the plastic surrounds on the various vents on my unit have already gone brittle and are cracking.. The unit is ( in theory ) still under warranty but I am blowed if I can find a UK dealer to speak to !
Anyone know who/where such a beast might be found ?

Excuse my ignorance of your van but are these vents for the fridge or heater and are they Dometic or Truma in which case you possibly may be able to source those from us, regretably not under warranty though.

Let me check tomorrow Peter.. I canna remember which ones are banjaxed and which are not, but I do think they are all generic..
The actual grills are fine it is the frames ( the ones mounted in the body work sort of thing ) that are failing

If they are not a million quid I would proly be happy to swallow the cost rather than spend half a life time chasing pennies ! :-)
I guess the sizes would be useful too ?

Isn't SEA the group that is in part Marquis and Autosleeper now?

John

Gawd knows ! One of the group happens to be jaws ( honestly ! )

Don Amott at Hilton, Derbyshire used to always stock these vans and I think they would be a good contact for parts required.

DOH !! wot a wally ! It aint Jaws but Sharky that is one of the subsidiaries !
Thanks for the idea re the sea web site.. One fone call and the surrounds are on the way..

But Peter, can you give me a price on a couple of generic hole covering type grills please sir ?

First one is 19cm x 12cm and is on the gas door
Second is 19cm x 19cm and is in the habitation door
They both seem to have suffered UV damage which is nuts for a 2 year old unit, so def do not want to get another lot from SEA as chances are they will be as duff as those I already have by next year !!
Colour is the normal slightly off white but close enough is good enough Peter
