More worrying in their blurb they apparently used to allow Calor gas bottle refilling.
Paragraph two just above the purple ringed bit

I see no mention of Morrisons in that notice.

And Morrisons and MFG are not, totally, the same thing..

and in any case, I take my Safefill cylinders to local guy who fills them for me.

Hopefully those of us with a dedicated external fill point will continue to be allowed.

I'm not sure of the date on the notices.

I filled my GasIt bottles, within external fill point. Yesterday at Cardiff Morrison's.

Calor stopped us years ago in Norwich and Bury St Edmunds, but there's always someone letting you fill or doing for you. 😀

France was a problem, I've sat on a pump for ages just kept holding everyone up pushing the button, 😆 but now the pumps are unmanned so no problem. 😃

In Spain some Repsol garages refuse, others let you fill no problem, but there's other companies that sell lpg and never bat an eye lid, 😉 even when I pull up to the next pump and fill with diesel. 😁

Filled up in Portugal today, like a lot of places in Spain and Portugal they fill you up, I said lpg he started finding his adaptors, but I was already screwing mine in, but impressed with the love that went into making them. 😁 Bob.
Oh 85cents a litre.

Morrisons forecourt businesses are now all MFG owned unfortunately.
Yes this therefore applies to them as well .

Looks like MFG partners with all the major fuel suppliers including Morrisons. I hope it is only the Safefill & calor bottles affected.

MFG are Morrisons petrol forecourt owners they took them over last year .
CD&R Clayton Dubilier and Rice ultimately owned both Morrisons and MFG , a deal was done antvthe Morrisons forecourt business was sold to MFG , from what I can see it’s all smoke and mirrors, just moving an enormous debt pile around so everyone gets a share 🤬

I expect that it would be very easy for them to simply refuse any motorhome until you persuade them that you use LPG for propulsion. It's not exactly difficult to detect.

It has become quite a lot more difficult for me to find LPG in the UK for a while now.

I'm due to replace my Gaslow cylinders. Wonder whether future-proofing doesn't involve progressively moving everything away from gas. Not cheap though...

I have safe fill bottles and so far have had no issues refilling but I prefer to use a local refill place as they do it for you. I still can’t get used to the blow back on release so the safefill bottles may be safe but user error is not brand specific.

I have a diesel Truma heater & compressor fridge on my wish list. That would probably reduce my gas usage by about 95% or more.

Time to buy some Gasbank cylinders

Seriously, it is looking more like an option, although expense is not the major obstacle.

I could get a awful lot of LiFePO4 in the locker where I currently have two full bottles of LPG
But the real problem is weight. Removing 30Kg of gas bottles will give less than another couple of hundred Ah of LiFePO4
and an inverter is on top of that

There are a few independent LPG sites in the UK if you look. And bearing in mind that you barely use a great deal of gas anyway, I dont see the issue.

Walsall and Wolverhampton have LPG outlets.
Northwich do too. There is a ruck of them still about and I dont see the minimum wage Morrison guy paying to much attention when you turn up and pump it in without opening lockers or bottles. My motorhome is LPG guv..
Many countries act the same and ive filled up in them- Italy and Holland spring to mind.

Remember, always ask for forgiveness not permission

I filled up in the most northerly LPG station in the World today, without an issue....although i had to fill up for a couple of struggling Ausies first

Just saying 😌

Its a strange one, I think so long as you're not getting cylinders out onto the forecourt you may be ok? Gaslow are really a fixed installation as opposed to the gas cylinders shown in the diagrams on their information leaflet, so maybe that might make a difference.

I would have thought Gaslow themselves would be onto this immediately, so perhaps we just need to sit back and wait

I've posted before that Flogas stopped Safe fill and similar stand lone bottle refills after people started filling Calor and Flogas bottles with the #10.99 adaptor from eBay.

We are lucky to have a Flogas depot in Peterborough and I always get a friendly wave when filling up as they know I can manoeuvre our nearly 10 metre RV without them having to open an internal gate system after the initial barrier.

One reported story was a guy passing hose into rear door of a car and someone was holding a bottle on their lap!! Didn't seal or overfilled or whatever and vented INTO the car....... Very lucky boy to walk away.

eBay rubbish has spoiled another thing for genuine sensible Motorhomers.

Gaslow system fitted. Went to refill at Morrisons , Livingston ( last week) as I have in the past. Got knocked back. Guy at the till demanded photo of the system. Showed him. Passed to supervisor, Flat refusal. Would not be persuaded. So didn't get the fuel sale either.

Just for balance our local Flowgas distribution place at Earle’s Colne industrial site where the airfield is is more than happy to fill safefill and any perpose made refillable bottles but not the ones that are not made to be refilled
I would add the last quarter mile to get to his place is very narrow so I take our bottles in the car
