Can you watch 2 T/V's on different stations off of the same Satellite?

Thanks Matt

Yes, you will need a twin LNB on your dish and an additional receiver.

What about the same station on 2 tvs?

we have one dome satellite, one receiver and 2 TV's, but paid extra to allow us to watch different programs on each TV

no idea how it works, but it does, we also had an option to pay a bit more and be able to watch on the move, which we rejected :)(y)

We have a single LNB RoadPro dome - when we got it, we had 1 tv with built-in sat tuner and one with a separate tuner box, and could watch the same programme on both TVs, albeit with a second or two lag between them. (Which sounds a bit odd in a van.) When we changed to two TVs both with built-in tuners, turning the second one on seemed to stop the signal to the first one - I guess that's the definition of a first world problem! It now seems though to have reverted to the previous situation - we can get same picture on both TVs, with a time lag. No idea why! I think our dealer originally put a splitter on the signal lead - although another technician who saw it was very sniffy about it, and said we should get a twin LNB.

There are 'Unicable' LNB's available that will provide multiple outputs from a single feed cable, however the receivers will need to be compatible with the Unicable system, I have no experience with them but they are available.

Thanks guys, i can watch the same channel but not different ones. I think they do a twin LNB conversion for my camos sat dome .

I'm watching with interest as I was wondering that too. I wanted to get another tv for the MH bedroom. I thought if I got a splitter I could run another cable to the second tv. Mine is an Oyster set up

Take a extra video and audio feed from the back of the receiver box if its HDMI them buy a splitter. If its RCA (phono) you could potentially get away with a 2 into 1 phono connector same for audio

You cannot muck about with the LNB block it has to be post receiver video output and you will mirror on your second tv what you watch on your primary

Nearly all domes and sat systems will have twin LNB options at a cost .

You mean you can find 2 things worth watching at the same time. Must be some set up.
