Hi, looking for advice. Currently in Southern Italy and looking for alternative routes into France. We will return up the west coast of italy towards Turin. From here what is the best route into France, tunnel or passes or a combination

Last trip that way Mont Cenis pass worked for us coming back - very picturesque stopovers by the lake at the top. Going out we went via Briançon and Col du Lauteret.

BTW if you’re looking for a stopover east of Turin can recommend the community motorhome parking at San Salvatore Monferrato (it’s on P4N) all services inc. electric free and security camera monitoring.

EDIT BTW2. We stopped at the last Lidl on the Italian side on the way up to Mount Cenis and they had wine on offer at reduced prices down to €1.73 bottle. Wish we had stocked up as it turned out to be rather good!
