Roof aerial for 4g and wifi signal

I use the Huawei 5577 in the van and works fine with the Poynting Puck aerial for 4g but you can also use the wifi extender tab to pick up any wifi that’s flying around such as site wifi. As anyone fitted a dual purpose aerial which will pick up 4g and wifi bands. I believe that a later Poynting Puck version will do the job.

Could be but I noticed that it had a separate cable for wifi so not sure how it would work with the HUAWEI.

You would be better replacing it with a proper MIMO aerial like the Poynting MIMO-0003-V2-15.
The Pucks have no or negative gain in the 800mhz bandwidth which most of rural cell masts use.

I’ve been looking at that but need to check if it has a separate wifi cable, if it has then I don’t see how the HUAWEI can connect to it as the two aerial ports are used for the 4 g signal. used to use the iboost but that has broken and it was one of the original ones so might have to look at other stand alone wifi booster set ups.

You need a seperate WiFi router with exteral aerial input connections they tend to be the expensive professional ones.
