Looking at a Rapido 8089df on a 3650kg Fiat camping car chassis. I have a C1 licence and can't afford one on an Alko chassis.
It's an automatic and has 16" alloy wheels.
Have any of you uprated the gvw? If so how and what weight did you uprate it to?
Thanks in advance,

Vic

Speak to Van Weight Engineering.Mine is 3500kg factory up plated to 3650kg and because I have the heavy alloy wheels I could up plate to just under 4000kg with just a paper exercise.More with semi air rear upgrade

Thank you. I will check the wheels and tyre load values tomorrow.

I have a Rapido 8096df and under Rapido terminology the "df" refers to a double floor Alko chassis. The "f" models are on the Fiat chassis.
I am not sure about an 8089, but there is an 8086df model, essentially the same as the 8096df but 7.2metre and the lounge is smaller.
My own motorhome is a 160bhp manual on 16" alloys and replated to 3850kg with no additional work and helped by SV Tech.
I would hugely recommend the 8096, great layout and super build quality.
Hope this helps
