Dogs North Wales, recommendations for dog friendly sites

Late in August our youngest daughter is going on the big zip wire at Penrhyn Quarry. We will be looking to stay somewhere maybe an hour or so South.

We will be looking for a site that is dog friendly with safe off the lead area to walk them.

Any recommendations?

This is walking distance to the zip wire, dog friendly surrounded by lovely woods to walk in. Only down side was no dog friendly pubs in Bethesda, one let us in as they weren't serving food at the time.

That site is booked up, any others, now also considering leaving the dogs at home.

The Llanberis touring park https://www.morris-leisure.co.uk/ is a nice if pricey site with walks in the woods along side and the Heights pub in town is pub friendly.

We ended staying at the
Rhyd y Galen Caravan and Camping Park, which was very good.

Dinner at Yr Harbwr was fairly average, but probably what you would expect.

This is probably the most dog friendly site in Wales
