leisure battery charger

My KT/TX leisure battery charger's trip light has come on. Any idea why this has happened?

Just a guess as I know nothing about the type of charger, the battery was most probably was flat as a pancake, if this happens the current draw when you start you engine can be rather high for a split second, but long enough to blow fuses or trips.
