how do i alter lights for driving in europe on my 2001 hymper b584

you need to go to halfords and get some light geflectors (quote cheap)
or use tape on your headlights

Don't tape the headlights with opaque (or worse, silver-backed tape). They are Hella projector units and will probably overheat if you cover them in this way. Use the stick-on beam benders (it's plan number 8 on the included positioning leaflet). You can reuse the beam benders if you peel them off carefully after a trip and reattach them next time using a bit of CLEAR tape if necessary.

Alternatively, the lamp units can be rotated in their housing for left or right side driving. But its a tricky job to do as you have to loosen three retaining screws first and I have never been able to access them despite several attempts. Others have succeeded, so a search on this (and dare I say other forums) might give you some guidance if you want to try this method.
