Hi i`m Joc 2017 Swift Rio 340

Hi I`m Joc, just picked up a used 2017 Swift Rio 340 my first ever motorhome .While cleaning it I notice it has some gaffer tape on the seams of the roof at the front and back. Can any one tell me if this is normal practice for motor home roofs? as I I do find this a bit worrying I'm a 2017 HM with 15000mls on it

any advice on this subject would be most welcome thanks
