I'm guessing but you may have to buy the whole light unit - that might make the search easier. Can you can read the manufacturers name on the glass?

It's hella which I think is quite universal but can't see any model number but it looks like this

e mail alastair@geoffcox.co.uk
or even
01332 781 562 ask for Alastair Murray parts manager

Failing that take the part with you and pop into your local wrecker, see whats there that is the same or similar

2014...go back to autotrail, it must be under warranty ?

Trouble with Autotrail warranty it takes 6 weeks to sort(at least)and we go out most weekends.

fair comment....but if you can get a couple of freebees on warranty they will do for later.

Edit: I just noticed your only at Hull Autotrail are only up the road and over the bridge, drive over and show them, pick up warranty replacements..

Without actually dismantling the car, this looks very similar to the Rear Light fitting bulb holder on my Fiat Punto?. So maybe take pattern to a Wreckers? and see what they have?

Willinghams, Tower Road Hedon Road HULL.?. Past the Old Priestman Works.

Exactly.

I don't think light units are covered by the warranty but worth a try.
Found this one ebay so I'm sure there are loads of places to buy them:

Everything is covered for 2 years under EU rules. Varies by state as to first 6 months or 1 year direct replacement & 1 year or 18 months back to manufacturer for repair.

Agree, but it will take forever and I would rather spend a few quid rather than miss my weekends away.Easter is early this year too and past experience tells me I would still be waiting by then

Hi, did you get one without buying the whole unit?
I have exactly the same problem, corroded inside and the Hella part number of the bulb holder doesn't seem to bring anything up anywhere on the Internet.

Dunno why you didn't just nip to Swift, they were delighted to replace one of our rooftop rear lights which leaked, saying it was a warranty issue anyway since the seal was crap, so it cost them nowt and approx. 4 minutes !

Don't know what swift would say if I asked him for an Autotrail part

Your vehicles supplier (the retailer) should sort it out as you claim is with them. Regardless of the warranty you still have rights under the Consumer Rights Act or Sale of Goods Act even if your guarantee has expired. A manufacturer's guarantee doesn't replace these rights and retailers can't ignore this.

It will depend on the product and the fault but you could be legally entitled to a free repair or, in some cases, a replacement by the retailer for some time after the manufacturer's guarantee has expired; in fact up to six years.

Try leisureshop direct, just google the name and go to their website, lots of lenses and all motorhome and caravan spares, have used them a few times for lense replacements.

Camper NE have sorted me one now, thank you to all for taking time to reply. All the best.

Can't really blame the manufacturer for mine, I have purchased two years old and someone hasn't clipped it in properly when they have changed the bulb. I've ordered the whole light as per the eBay link from Bill as I have spent too long looking but does seem daft for the sake of a small connection.
Likewise, thanks for your replies
