Habitation door failure

Help! Our habitation door has failed, both indoor and outdoor handles do not work, I understand that it is likely to be a spring failure in the mechanism. I have found videos showing how to remove the door panel but they only show how to do it with the door open!
My problem is I don’t know how to open the door, can anyone help?

get inside van via front .pull lever on hab door as you were opening it while firmley pushing ..if this dont work it will be a panel off job but first try and remove the inside opening handle as some times the push and pull bars/rods disconect or go baggy you can allso pull on one off the push pull rods with grips and the door mite pop open good luck
