Don't own one yet
We are renting a motorhome for the first two weeks of September, picking up near Lisbon and dropping back to the same place. We have a week and we want to go south then up in a loop back to Lisbon (second week we are up north). We've only ever gone to festivals in motorhomes before so I'm very excited to try a holiday in one and will likely buy one in future if it's a success.

I've been looking at camp sites and I'm struggling to find what I'm after. I had envisaged pretty grassy pitches on picturesque vineyards, small campsites within walking distance of villages/beaches. Most of what I am finding are car parks or very large holiday park type places with pools etc (happy to do that for a couple of nights, but would prefer smaller places ideally). Lots of them seem quite isolated which isn't ideal as we would like to go out in the evenings sometimes.

I would be very grateful for any recommendations!

This sort of thing would be ideal but not so isolated

Many thanks in advance for your help

Try Search for Sites or Park 4 Night both apps which have a massive variety of stops, both campsites & Aires. Someone may be along soon to recommend small campsites, but you may find that near the coast they are often quite big.

Try “Portugal Easy Camp”.

They might be a bit more in line with what you’re looking for.

Oh thank you all! The easy camp site looks great and I will try the others that Stonemags76 recommended too. :giggle:
