Hi the instruction Manuel isn’t very informative. Do I need to shut my windows and doors in my motorhome when it is on intake and polar?

No, why would you? If you have it set to draw air in it will help to have a window open to allow air out. Likewise if it is set to extract it will help to have a point of entry for fresh air (this is the best option for cooling).

The vent is open for it to draw air in, it is on polar control, when up to temp, should stay constant. Still not sure if we should shut all windows. Instructions don’t give any clue?

We always run our vent blowing out as its over the kitchen and works as an extractor when the hob is on, if the bedroom is hot on an evening I open a bedroom window on the shaded side of the van making sure the rest are all closed then I just run the fan blowing out and it's amazing how quickly it can cool the back of the van.
