Had an excellent visit to the Pilote factory at La Limouziniere about 30 mins south of Nantes today.
A really interesting tour around the shop floor , where they make all Pilote motorhomes and Bavaria models. Starting with the chassis in right through to the finished product driving out .
One huge problem ! Now have to wait until February for our new Bavaria I740 A class to be delivered, methinks time will drag by, but sure will know all the ins and outs of the build.

Didn't realise that Bavaria were part of the Pilote group, have noticed a lot of them in France the last in the last couple of years.
Which French dealer are you buying From?

Hope it was as good as it sounded - our Pilote is certainly well screwed together. We love it

No photos allowed in the factory unfortunatly .
We are using Bonjour 22 at Saint Brieuc on north coast , we are trading up from our exsisting Bavaria coach built . We live in Brittany ,been here nine years.

If passing through and visiting factory on route can you stay overnight on their car park?

There is a camping car aire signposted at the factory , so believe no problem , we used the car.The visit has to be prebooked , there is a form on the pilote website , factory tour will be in french , but no real problem , lady who sets up visit etc and gives chat before speaks english and you can email her in english.
