Ducato CV 40 High Brake light pod removal

I want to change the reversing camera on our CV40. There is a large plastic pod that the existing light unit fits into. Anyone know how to get the Pod off without a major dismantling of interior headlining?

Looks like you might have to get inside. The surround looks as though it might be bolted from the back in the same way the screw mounts in the metal plate in the video below, however if you can access and patch into the power/earth/video feeds on the original camera perhaps a brake light camera combination to replace it?

Removal of high level brake light ducato van HOW?

Looks simple enough - 2 big screws holding it in? Screws out gently ease the fitting. Expected it to fall out but no there must be something holding it. Before brute force what the hell is holding in place? TIA

Many thanks, thats pretty much my thoughts too unfortunately. I was hoping someone would know a way to get it off from the front.......

I fitted one of these a couple of days ago, it may be possible to leave the surround in place and use one
