Thinking of installing a pair of Capframo Sirocco II fans. Only wanting a bit of air circulation at low decibels.
Only experienced earlier models in a boat cabin.
Appreciate any advice from lunatic to other ideas. Recommendations all welcome.
Thanks.

Is this for the cab area while driving, the hab area when parked or a bit of both?

we have a couple of endless breeze 12v fans for general use and also a couple of small usb rechargeable fans for night time. Tempted to fit a MaxAir though (or similar) at some stage

Bit of both.
Thought above and behind driver for dinette area, and other for rear hab area.

MaxAir uses a bit much juice for my current (no pun) resources at leisure.

I fitted this one from Roadpro above our heads connected to the leisure battery

Just finished a life of nightmare for a sparky 🫣.
Auto-Trail wiring 🤬 and carpentry 😭.
Job done, sun down 🍷post a pic tomorrow.
The fans are as quiet and powerful as described so early days but recommend 👍.

I have in the garage, a couple of cab fans from my Trucking days, one is 12v the other 24v but are power hungry which is no good for overnight.

In my VW Camper, I have got 2 12v computer fans that I trap in the habitation windows or skylight.
If in the windows, I have one sucking, the other inverted so that it blows.
Low power drain overnight and they keep the air moving. 👍

Photos front and rear. Both fold away and run off engine or leisure battery.

Can they suck and blow?

No giggling at the back.

You can swivel them in any direction you like. So, no, you can't change the direction of rotation of the fan like you can with a MaxxAir, but you can point them the other way so they're blowing away or towards you.

Soft blades means you can change the orientation of the fan with it running and if your finger accidentally gets in the way of the blade nothing bad happens (it doesn't even hurt)

I've been very pleased with mine, despite the price tag.

They also fold away out of the way quite nicely.

The airflow from the rear (smirk) is negligible.

The fan doesn't oscillate, so you can point it in the chosen flow direction and it doesn't wander.
Worked this afternoon in the van, running up the heater and the fans running. Very pleased all round.

PM sent.
Pleased to recommend. Forward fan tested as travelling and keeps the pup cool in the rear passenger seat.

Please don't use this thread as a stepping stone.
Irene has left contact details so go direct or not through me.
Thanks.
